　　官方给出的注释涵盖所有A-Level科目地位平等，转变成UCAS成绩时是想通的，有时大学会遵循规定科目进行OFFER的发放。

　　然而还是有许多特殊情况存在，多数情形下General Studies是不接受的申请科目，Critical Thinking也屡屡被排除在外。但是，某些院校表示，倘若学生成绩差一点过线，这些科目分数很高还是能够弥补。

　　名校录取时，更喜欢“硬”学科，也有部分院校会给出科目“黑名单”。

　　只是“黑名单”有点太严重了，有时名单上的一两个科目与其他科目同时申请，大学也会接受。假若想申请某所院校，还是听取他们的建议为好，但其他院校却不一定适用，因为招生官的偏好会有所不同。
